Subject: COVID-19 updates. Today’s virtual press conference will include 2 special guests who are releasing compelling economic research that speaks to the importance of fully funding the Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator.
They will outline how their study shows that vaccine nationalism could cost high-income countries US$4.5 trillion, as well as the economic benefits of funding multilateral efforts to ensure equitable access.
